Last month Courageous was out in Milwaukee working with the leadership team at Kohl’s.

What I like most about this leadership team is their willingness to invest in their people.

We started off our day reviewing much of what you now have below.

I don’t know who first said, “The Best Version Of Yourself”.

What I do know…

We’re looking in many of the wrong places to get locked in on who we are.

But let’s say for a moment that you are game to become the best version of you.

It’s easy to talk about; hard to achieve.

“There are three things extremely hard: steel, a diamond, and to know one’s self.” – Benjamin Franklin

In these foggy times, it has never been more important to turn inward to figure out what makes you tick.

Of course we are not turning inward. We’re turning to social media.

Now…you might be thinking:

Ryan, I know myself. I’ve been living with myself everyday since I’ve been alive.

For living with yourself for as long as you have, can you rattle off your values?

Are they clear?

Are they prioritized?

Are they uniquely you?

Are there more than 3, 4 or 5?

My friend, founding Astronaut at Virgin Galactic, Loretta Hidalgo used to say to me:,

It takes you 40 years to figure out who you are and the next 40 to be that person.

Maybe you’re the lucky one.

Maybe you are 25 and reading this?

Maybe you are 55 and responsible for leading others?

It all still starts by leading yourself.

Life is short. But it can be wide too.

The only way to become the best version of yourself is to become…

Want to be The Best Version of Yourself?

Become The Clearest Version of Yourself.

Put in the work.

Reach out and I’ll send a quick values assessment your way.
