Many in business are treating transformation like a spreadsheet exercise:
Cut roles.
Flatten layers.
Fund AI.
Announce a new future.
But our people do not commit to a future simply because leadership financed it.
They commit when leaders clearly explain why change is happening.
They commit when leaders clearly explain what will never change.
I have rarely seen a company restructure its way to Belief.
Which means the shared purpose of every leadership team should be the same:
The sole goal of leadership is Believership.
When leaders let fear win, there’s:
• less communication
• less truth
• less confidence
• less conviction
Now the real question:
Does your leadership make Believers or fake Believers?
Usually it’s the stuff below the neck that needs to be summoned to the surface.
That’s the very same stuff — once stated and shared — that creates true Belief.
