Today I am on an airplane.

Not exactly breaking news.

But what makes this flight different is that when the wheels touch down, I’ll officially be on PTO.

Bring on the books, the beach, and the occasional umbrella drink.

Exactly a week ago?

Also on an airplane.

Also not shocking.

That flight landed in Miami, where I had the honor of keynoting for Pan-American Life Insurance Group.

Sometimes, you get the chance to speak to a room led by someone who truly walks the courageous walk.

That’s how I’d describe José Suquet—Chairman of the Board, President, and CEO of PALIG.

For 20 years, José has been steady at the helm, navigating growth with heart and guts.

How much growth?

Under José’s leadership, PALIG achieved 20 consecutive years of premium increases, hitting a record $1.72 billion in 2024.

That kind of consistency?

It’s rare.

It’s real.

It’s earned.

So, my mission to the room was simple:

1. Don’t rest on your laurels

2. Keep your foot on the gas

3. And never underestimate the power of trust

Step into the shoes of a prospect you want to serve.

Have you done enough for them to trust you?

Trust isn’t given. It’s something you grow.

Done so through every small moment you genuinely show.
