It has been a quarter.
I guest lectured at Harvard on Headamentals in January.
I experienced Italy to celebrate Jaelin Kauf’s Olympics in February.
Landon Donovan’s memoir was just released this March.
It has been a quarter.
Courageous is helping Kohl’s with their transformation.
I was fortunate to do a 700+ keynote stage in Vegas.
We just launched our new website courageous.io
It has been a quarter.
My family was together to watch my son celebrate his Bar Mitzvah.
My wife had a lovely birthday where she turned _ _ in February.
She then turned around and tossed a surprise 50th party for yours truly.
As we turn the page on March, I reflect on all of the above.
I don’t share any of this to gloat.
I do think about what’s to come.
From a reflection standpoint:
You have to stop for a second to celebrate those moments!
In 2019, I left i.d.e.a. — terrified as to what I would do next.
I wasn’t sure if I was going to start another company.
I wasn’t sold if I was going to be a keynote speaker.
I wasn’t certain I would reap the fruits of writing a book.
Turns out it has been all three.
I share this because most people get stuck in their heads — and never take action on their ideas. The thinking (knowledge) and the feeling (faith) are nothing without the doing (action).
It also happens to be the first time in 7 years that I am not IN a writing project.
But that’s about to change.
When you are in the courage business, talk is cheap.
You have to repeatedly walk the walk.
You have to continually live the premise.
Next up with “all my free time” is something I have been nervous to take on for a long time:
A screenplay.
I am scared.
It will be hard.
(That’s the point)
Courage IS regret insurance.
